John joined Epsom Bowling Club as a new bowler in 2015. He did not re join in 2017. However, John re joined the Club in 2021. John was a member of the squad that won the Chrystie League in 2023 & 2024. |

Jim Scott

Jim was born in Montrose Scotland and came south in 1962 when his employer transferred him to work in London. He retired in 1993. & started bowling in 1949 when the Inch Bowling Club was opened in Montrose. In 1962 joined Braintcroft BC in Middlesex and following his marriage joined Andre BC in Surrey in 1969. When Andre folded he joined Epsom BC in 1998. Qualified for his Surrey County Badge in 1974 when he won the Fours and has been a beaten quarter finalist and semi finalist on several other occasions, Winner of many local and other competitions including the London Parks BA Champion of Champions Singles competition in the mid 80’s. Jim plays indoors at King George Field IBC where he is a founder member and was Club Secretary for many years.. He was awarded Life Membership in 2000 for services to the Club. Jim looked after the Jubilee Competition during 2011/2012 which was held at King George Indoor Bowling Club. Jim was elected President of King George Field Indoor Bowling Club for 2021/22. Jim played his 200th match in the ESL on Sunday 8th May 2022 against Purley Bury. |

Won Handicap 2007/23/24 Pairs 2024 Runner Up Championship 2000 Pairs 2000 Triples 2000 Jim was a member of the successful Yonwin Cup Winners in 2003. He was a member of the team which won the Jubilee Cup in 1999. Jim was a member of the team that lost in the Final of the Past Times in 2010. Jim was a member of the team that lost in the Final of the Yonwin Cup in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2016 & 2018 & in the Top 10 team that lost to Wallington in the Final in 2012. Jim was a member of the squad that won the East Surrey League in 2015. Jim looked after the Jubilee Cup in 2014. |

Richard Senior |
Richard joined Epsom Bowling Club in June 2017 as a novice bowler. Richard won his first Trophy at Epsom Bowling Club in the Australian Pairs with Martin Harbottle. Richard won his first Singles title at Epsom Bowling Club on Saturday 31st August 2019. |

Phil Sims |
Phil joined Epsom Bowling Club in 2014. Phil became Bar Manager in 2018/24 (with Pauline Devereaux). He was a member of the Yonwin Cup team that lost in the Semi Final in 2018. Phil was a member of the squad that won the East Surrey League in 2015. Phil was a member of the squad that won the Chrystie League in 2017. Phil was a member of the squad that won the Vilamoura Mixed League in 2017. He won his first Club Trophy in 2019 in the Triples with Derek Martin & Les Owen. Phil was elected Men's Vice Captain on 7th October 2022- 24. Phil played his very first game in the Bowls England Top Club on Thursday 4th May 2023. He represented the Club in the Two Wood Singles & won 15 - 11. Phil was a member of the squad that won the Chrystie League in 2023 & 2024. Indoors - Mole Valley IBC Won Triples (with Brian Collis & partner) 203/24. |
