Dawn joined in 2018 as a novice bowler. Dawn played her first match for Epsom Bowling Club at Leatherhead on Tuesday 26th June 2018. Dawn did not rejoin in 2019 |

Vera Deane |
Vera was Chairman of the Ladies’ Section from 1989 to 1994. She was Captain in 1972, 1973, 1974 & 1975. Vera is a Club Vice President. Vera started work in the Official Solicitor's Department, in the Strand. After her marriage she left the Law Courts to live in Epsom. At the time she was a keen tennis player. Her neighbours played bowls & she took up the game after her husband, Gordon brought home a set of bowls. Vera started bowling at Epsom Court. In 1958 she joined Ewell Ladies & she won the Junior Singles in her first year. She won the Championship, Handicap & Two Wood Singles in 1962.Vera gained her Surrey Badge in 1963. In the same year she reached the quarter finals of the Surrey Fours & in 1965 she reached the Semi Finals and won. Vera is responsible for starting up Epsom Court Ladies B.C. Vera joined Epsom Bowling Club in 1966 & won her first Championship Singles in 1969. Vera was a keen Indoor Bowler and served as President, Captain, Secretary and Delegate for Epsom Ladies who play at the Rainbow Centre. Vera designed a commemorative tea cloth for the English Women's B.A. at the 8th Women's World Bowls Convention held at Leamington Spa in 1996. Vera has raised over £30,000 in her time associated with St Martha on the Hill Church, Guildford. Vera did not renew her membership in 2013. Sadly Vera passed away on Thursday 18th August 2016. Jo Ellis |
Jo was Vice Captain in 2002 and was the Catering Officer for a few years. She was a member of the rink that lost in the Final of the Mole Valley Cup in 2013. Jo was a member of the squad that won the East Surrey League in 2005, 2006 & 2014. She transferred to Social in 2016. Jo was made a Honorary Life Member in 2019. Pat Felloni

Pat was, Captain in 2002 & Vice Captain in 20012003 and was the currently the Match Secretary. Pat was a member of the squad that won the East Surrey League in 2005 & 2006. Sadly Pat passed away on 30th January 2017. Phyllis Gaunt |
Phyllis was born in County Durham. After living in various parts
of the UK she came to Epsom in 1964. Phyllis joined Epsom Bowling
Club as a new player, and wishes she had starting bowls sooner. Phyllis
says her club record is modest, but an enjoyable achievement.
Phyllis left the Club in 2009.

Eileen Godfrey |
Eileen was the Ladies Treasurer and has been in this position since 1998. She stepped down after the 2013 season. Eileen changed to Social Membership in 2015. Sadly Eileen passed away in mid March 2017. Betty has lived in Surrey all her life. She joined Epsom Bowling
Club in 2005. She had a successful operation on her hand in 2014,
but decided to give up bowling.

Pam joined Epsom Bowling Club in 2017 as a novice bowler. She did not re join in 2018. |
Tessa Hurworth |
Tessa started bowling when she joined Epsom Bowling Club in 2007. Tessa won her first Club Trophy in 2010 winning the Junior Singles.District Councillor for Mole Valley Council.
