Green Update

I would like to thank the many players from our Club who have commented to me about the condition of the green and how well it is bowling at present.
I must say that at times during the winter months I thought I had taken on a job, which was not going to turn out as I would like it to. This was totally due to the very bad weather (snow, frost, rain), and not being able to do the necessary work when it was needed to be done.
In mid March I thought I was at least three weeks behind. However, with a lot of hard work and some good weather, not forgetting the rain at the right time we have a green that fits the purpose of our game. So I hope you enjoy playing on it.

I hope to continue to provide you with the best green possible over the remaining months of our season.

Thanks
Peter
