A message from Eric Brown I believe that the members of Epsom Bowling Club are among the luckiest people in the sport in that we have someone - Les Owen - who has produced one of the best Websites that I have come across. The amount of detail that is within the web site - on quite a number of subjects - must answer every question that anyone has ever asked about the club. If you have a computer and can access the internet, even if you have never heard of the club before, and have our web site address then you will find the answer to almost any question that you could have about the club. I am of the opinion that everyone should say a very, very sincere THANK YOU to Les Owen who spends goodness knows how many hours adding information - almost on a daily basis. The photographs that are on the Website say an awful lot about the club and they cover quite a lot of what goes on - see the Gala Day photos for example, together with a lot of the other subjects. I sincerely trust that I am not alone in thinking the way I do about this. I sincerely hope that others will follow suit and take a couple of minutes to send something to Les for inclusion in the July Newsletter which I hope will show him how much his efforts are thought of. |
