The 'Walter Cross
Memorial Trophy' is a cup which presumably was presented on the
demise of W. G. Cross who was Chairman of the County (a
forerunner equivalent to the County President) in 1927.
His Club is recorded as West Wimbledon. The engraving on
the Cup shows that it was first played for by the four Areas of
the County in 1968. |
